Contact
If a tree or a large limb is on the house, a vehicle or a power line, call rather than writing, and say that first. For everything else the form works as well as the phone, and a photo of the tree from the street is worth sending afterwards.
Phone
Serving Port Charlotte and unincorporated Charlotte County, North Port, Punta Gorda and Venice. Calls may be recorded — see the disclosure.
What happens when you call
The number on this site reaches us, not a call centre. If the question can be answered on the phone, it will be, including when the answer is that a tree needs nothing. If someone needs to see it, we pass your details to one local tree company that covers your ZIP, and they call to arrange a visit. Your details do not go to a list of companies that then compete for you by phone.
What to have ready
None of this is required, but it makes the first call shorter.
- Your address or at least the ZIP, which decides who covers you
- What kind of tree, if you know: oak, pine, palm, or "big and leafy"
- Roughly how tall, and how close it is to the house, the pool cage or the lines
- Whether anything is already broken, hanging or down
- Whether a truck can get to it, or it is behind a fence in the back yard
What can be settled on the phone
Whether a palm needs trimming this year, whether a permit is likely, whether a pine leaning toward the house is urgent, and whether a storm-felled tree needs any paperwork before it is cleared: all usually answerable from a description and a photo. What cannot be settled on the phone is a price. Tree work is priced on height, access and what is underneath, and someone has to see the yard.
Calls are recorded
You will hear a short announcement before the call connects. Florida requires both parties to consent to recording, and that announcement is the consent notice. Recordings exist so the details of a job are not misremembered later, and for nothing else. If you would rather not be recorded, use the form instead and the reply comes the same way.

Common questions
Do you answer after a hurricane?
Yes, as long as the phone network is up. Expect longer waits for anything that is not an emergency, because every tree company in the county is on storm work.
Can I send photos?
Yes. After the first call or form, the tree company will usually ask for one or two from the street and the yard.
