Advertising disclosure
Port Charlotte Tree Pros is an advertising and referral service operated by Pinecrest Advisory Services, LLC. This page explains exactly what that means.
We are not a tree company
We do not trim, prune, remove or grind trees, palms or stumps, and we do not clear storm debris. We hold no licence, insurance for tree work, or arborist certification, and make no claim to any. Every job discussed on this site is carried out by an independent local tree company with which we have a referral arrangement.
What happens when you call
The telephone number on this site is a tracking number operated by us. Calls to it are forwarded to an independent tree company serving Port Charlotte and the surrounding area. Calls may be recorded. You will hear an announcement to that effect before the call connects, and if you would prefer not to be recorded you can end the call at that point or use the estimate form instead. Florida is a two-party consent state for recorded communications, and the announcement exists so that consent is informed and given before any recording begins.
How we are paid
The tree company that receives your enquiry pays us, either a fixed monthly fee for exclusive access to enquiries from this site or a per-enquiry amount. You are never charged. What you pay for the work is a matter between you and the tree company. We do not mark up their prices and take no share of the job.
What we do with your details
Your name, phone number, address or ZIP and the description of the job are passed to the tree company so they can arrange an estimate. We keep a record of enquiries so we can tell whether the site is working. We do not sell your details and we do not pass them to several companies to bid against each other: one site, one company.
Reviews, ratings and photographs
There are no reviews or ratings on this site, and that is deliberate. The site launched in 2026 and has no review history of its own, and publishing testimonials we did not collect would be inventing a track record. The photographs are licensed stock photography, credited to their photographers, and none of them shows work done by the company we refer to or by us.
Decisions we do not make
We do not decide whether a tree is safe, whether it should be removed, or whether a permit is needed for your lot, and nothing said on a call to this number is a tree risk assessment. Those calls belong to the tree company, to a qualified arborist, and to the city or county that issues permits. Under Florida law, the documentation that lets a high-risk tree on a single-family lot be removed without a local permit has to come from an ISA Certified Arborist or a Florida licensed landscape architect. We are neither, and the company we refer to may or may not employ one; ask them.
Accuracy
The guides on this site are general information about trees and tree work in Charlotte County and nearby cities, not professional, legal or arboricultural advice about your property. Tree permit rules differ between unincorporated Charlotte County, Punta Gorda, North Port and Venice, and they change. Confirm anything that matters with the relevant city or county before relying on it, and have a qualified arborist assess any tree you are worried about.
